Didier Cuche is a former elite alpine skier. Four times FIS World Cup champion in Downhill (2007, 2008, 2010, 2011), in Super-G (2010) and Giant Slalom (2009), Didier is considered to be one of the most successful male skiers of his generation. He holds 21 World Cup race victories, 67 podiums and has the astonishing number of 369 World Cup starts.

Five times Downhill winner and record holder in Kitzbühel, Didier also holds an Olympic silver medal (Nagano 1998) and four FIS Alpine Skiing World Championships medals (one gold, two silvers, and a bronze). He won the Swiss Sports Personality of the Year in 2009 and again in 2011, when he was also a recipient of the Swiss Person of the Year award.
