He joined Burson-Marsteller in Switzerland as Managing Director, Geneva and is currently the Strategic Advisor at the International Olympic Committee to keep the Olympic Games relevant for future youth audiences. Andreas was the Director for Nissan’s brand and sponsorship strategy worldwide – aligning Nissan’s partnerships and establishing new partnerships where necessary.
In his previous role, he was responsible for the global activation of the brand partnership with Red Bull Racing in Formula One across all Infiniti markets. In this capacity he took a major worldwide project from concept to four consecutive F1 World Championships.
Andreas has worked as General Manager, Global brand innovation and experiential marketing and as Head of Marketing Communications Europe he was responsible for bringing the challenger brand Infiniti to the toughest automotive luxury markets. Before moving to Europe, Andreas was the Head of Global Interactive Marketing for Nissan Motor Co. in Tokyo, Japan.
Andreas has extensive corporate marketing experience with some of the world’s most valuable brands in various industry segments in North America, Europe and Asia. Before joining Nissan he worked at Audi and held marketing leadership positions at Intel Corporation in US and EMEA.
Andreas studied Japanese studies and international management in Germany and at Keio University in Tokyo. He holds a MBA from Thunderbird, The Graduate School of International Management.
Andreas is a regular speaker at conferences and business schools and has appeared on many global media outlets. He is fluent in German and English and also speaks French and Japanese.
